Stephan G. Schneider
Stephan G. Schneider joined Figueroa-Contreras Law Group in 2017 as a paralegal in the firm's criminal defense department. He draws from vast experience in a wide array of state and federal criminal matters, gained from his years working at another well-respected Miami-area criminal defense firm.
Stephan was born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida, and attended Saint Andrew's School and Spanish River High School. He briefly attended The George Washington University before transferring to Florida Atlantic University (FAU), where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with an undergraduate degree in political science. He plans to attend law school.
As an undergraduate at FAU, Stephan served as Treasurer and Editor-in-Chief of the Undergraduate Law Journal and authored published articles on space industry jurisprudence, WTO tariff exceptions, and white-collar crime. He participated in the Student Conduct Board and Pre-Law University Services.
In addition to his being an accomplished violinist and pianist, Stephan identifies as Colombian-American and maintains broad interests spanning U.S. and international politics, law, technology, and music. He is fluent in Spanish.
